I think I might be confused. I put my personal top 5, but I think what you want is what I think are the 5 greatest songs ever written. While I stand behind my 5, I think the following more accurately falls in line with what this tourney is trying to determine:

Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones
While My Guitar Gently Weeps by the Beatles
Superstition by Stevie Wonder
Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell
(that could easily be I Want You Back by the Jackson 5)
And finally, the toughest one to pick...
So Lonely by the Police

I was going to go with Welcome to the Jungle or Smells Like Teen Spirit, but they'd be 6 & 7

This is exactly what I meant, but since we didn't post that "rule" here & we can't assume everyone has heard Thursday's show, I want to give Vito the benefit of the doubt.
